Create and activate a workspace

Batch Scale gives each business a separate workspace and address such as your-name.batchscale.com. The address selects the correct private database schema; it is not only cosmetic.

Before you start

Choose your business name, industry profile, plan, workspace address, owner email, and a unique password of at least eight characters. The workspace address may contain letters, numbers, and interior hyphens. It cannot begin or end with a hyphen, and reserved platform names cannot be selected.

Create the workspace

1. Open Create Your Workspace.
2. Select the industry profile that best matches what you make. This controls starter categories, vocabulary, navigation, and learning guides without changing how your data is isolated.
3. Enter the desired subdomain and owner account details.
4. Select Create Account once and keep the page open while the database schema, owner, starter data, and secure hostname are created.

The expected outcome is a Workspace Ready page containing the exact HTTPS address. Open that address and sign in with the owner email and password.

Address activation pending

If Batch Scale says the secure address is still activating, the workspace and owner account have already been saved. Do not submit signup again. The platform retries the route automatically. Wait a few minutes, open the displayed address again, and keep the request reference if support is needed.

Permissions and isolation

The signup account becomes the workspace owner. Membership is checked again on dashboard, API, login-link, and protected document requests. An account in one workspace does not grant access to any other workspace.

Troubleshooting

• Address already taken: choose another subdomain. Existing or pending workspaces reserve their address.
• Email already registered: sign in instead. An owner email cannot be recreated through signup.
• Address returns 404 after the activation message: wait for the automatic retry, then provide the request reference to support. Do not share your password.
• Login works but the dashboard fails: record the address, time, route, and request ID shown by Batch Scale, then contact support.
