Essential technologies support authentication, session security, CSRF protection, tenant routing, checkout, fraud prevention, and saved choices. Preference technologies remember display or workflow settings. Analytics technologies measure use and are optional on Batch Scale public pages.

Essential Batch Scale storage
Django session and CSRF technologies may be used to maintain a secure session, validate form submissions, and remember privacy choices. Their exact names and duration depend on deployment configuration. Disabling them may prevent login, forms, account, cart, or checkout functions from working.

Public Google Analytics
If you select “Allow analytics,” the public site loads Google Analytics using the configured measurement ID. Google may set identifiers such as _ga and a measurement-specific _ga cookie and receive page path, referral, browser/device category, approximate network-derived location, and interaction events. Batch Scale configures IP anonymization where supported. Analytics remains off until you allow it.

Current durations
The Batch Scale public analytics choice is stored in the signed batchscale_public_analytics preference cookie for up to one year or until the cookie-policy version changes. Session authentication ordinarily ends at browser close or the configured session limit. CSRF protection may persist longer. If analytics is allowed, Google Analytics identifiers may persist for the duration configured in Google Analytics, commonly up to two years, unless deleted sooner. Production verification must confirm exact names and durations before approval.

Storefront analytics
A customer-operated storefront has a separate analytics choice for merchant product-view and shopping-interest events. Essential cart, checkout, order, and security processing continues if storefront analytics is declined. A merchant may also need its own cookie notice for technologies it independently adds.

Change or withdraw your choice
Use the controls below at any time. Declining prevents future optional public Analytics loading in this browser while the current preference remains stored; it does not automatically delete information already processed by Google. Browser controls can delete existing cookies and local storage.

Do Not Track and opt-out signals
Browsers do not implement Do Not Track consistently. Before Batch Scale performs any activity treated as sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, it must implement legally required opt-out signals and explain them here. Optional public analytics should remain disabled when consent has not been obtained where consent is required.

Changes and verification
We will update this inventory before materially adding an optional analytics or advertising provider. The approved release must include a browser test proving that optional provider requests do not occur before permission.
