This uses ideal C1V1 = C2V2 planning math. Temperature and contraction affect precise proofing; sugar and dissolved solids can invalidate a direct hydrometer reading. Follow applicable alcohol permits, tax, formulation, denaturing, labeling, and safe-handling requirements.
